Julia Myers is the grant writing consultant for the Strategic Partnerships and Research Collaborative (SPARC) Team. She holds a BS in Biology from University of Central Arkansas and a PhD in microbiology and immunology from LSU Health Shreveport. Her research focused on how human papillomavirus oncogenes influence the Epstein-Barr virus lifecycle in co-infected tissue. As a postdoc, Myers worked in the Infection Biology Program in Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute studying human cytomegalovirus. Her work has led to several publications, a funded predoctoral fellowship and Lerner Trainee Association Member of the Year Award for contributions to the monthly newsletter.
