Karen Dunn is the assistant director of the Office of Pre-Award Services and Agreements (PASA) in the Office of Research and Technology Management. She primarily handles pre-award matters, including proposal development assistance, proposal submission and contract negotiations for Case School of Engineering. She began her CWRU career in 2009 as a grant accountant in the post-award office and in 2012 was promoted and transitioned to PASA.
Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State University with a concentration in marketing, has earned the Office of Research Administration Certificate of Leadership and Management from the Weatherhead Executive Education Program, and is a Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC) Certified Research Administrator.
Karen has previously served as a co-chair of the Fringe Benefits Committee for the CWRU Staff Advisory Counsel and is a 2013 graduate of the CWRU Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Engagement's Train the Champion program. She has also served on various other committees in her time at CWRU. Karen is committed to CWRU's mission and core values and is proud to serve the research community.
