Lisa joined the Strategic Partnerships and Research Collaborative (SPARC) Team at Case Western Reserve University in 2022 after returning to her hometown of Cleveland. She has over 10 years of grant-related experience that includes pre- and post-award, research development, and business management and has worked at a healthcare foundation and several institutions of higher education.
As part of the SPARC Team, she works on complex, interdisciplinary, multi-institutional proposals often exceeding $10 million. Lisa collaborates with researchers and research administrators at CWRU and external institutions to build budgets and justifications. She ensures proposals are in compliance with university, sponsor, and government guidelines, and manages the SPARC submission process.
Lisa finished her bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL and earned her master’s degree in political science from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
