Megan joined CWRU in 2003 as a registered veterinary technician for the Animal Resource Center (ARC). While a team member of the ARC, Megan held positions in Veterinary Services and in the Training and Compliance departments. Currently, she serves as a post-approval monitoring (PAM) research integrity and education specialist for the Institutional Animal Care and Use Office, where she assists with the PAM Program for the university. Megan provides support to the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), ARC, and faculty and research staff by providing oversight and focused training for investigative personnel in animal health and welfare, advanced and specialized techniques, standard operating procedures, and occupational safety.
Megan holds an associate degree in applied science (AAS) in veterinary technology and maintains a current license with the Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board. She is also a Registered Laboratory Animal Technologist (RLATG) and a Certified Manager of Animal Resources (CMAR).
