Based on guidance from Sara Lee MD, Executive Director University Health and Counseling Services the following procedure should be used in reporting COVID-19 cases:
Faculty and staff should encourage students who are ill to call Health Services (216.368.2450) for assistance. Faculty and staff can also email University Health and Counseling Services healthservice@case.edu to make them aware of a student who is not feeling well, has undergone testing or report positive results.
CWRU community members who test positive for COVID-19 should self-report to University Health Services. They are able to offer assistance as well as determine if any additional steps are needed within our community.
In instances of confirmed or suspected cases, University Health will contact any member of the campus community known to have been in contact with that student.
