Colette Ngana is a postdoctoral scholar at the National Initiative on Mixed-Income Communities (NIMC).

She started her work with NIMC in 2022 as a doctoral student in the sociology department at Case Western Reserve University and quickly appreciated the center’s approaches to community building—both with each other and outside of the university.

Colette’s doctoral research centered on the relationship between housing and health inequities, with a focus on the experiences of burn injury survivors.
