Adam Mickiewicz University professors visit Mandel School to explore collaborations

Professors Mariusz Baranowski and Piotr Jabkowski, of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland, spent a week in Cleveland meeting with Mandel School faculty and students to explore research and teaching collaborations between the two universities. The Mandel School and Adam Mickiewicz University have collaborated since 2012 through travel study, research, scholarship and teaching activities. The Polish scholars and their hosts hope to extend the number of faculty and students actively working together on social problems and curriculum development.

While in Cleveland, Baranowski and Jabkowski met with Professors Rob Fischer, Nancy Rolock and Aloen Townsend of the Mandel School; Professor Michael Goldberg of WSOM; Professor Mary Erdmans of the sociology department; Chris Sippel from the Office of Faculty International Engagement; librarians Sam Skutnik and Kristen Kirchgesler from the school's Harris Library; and Mandel School students Dana Pugh and Meagan Ray-Novak.
