On April 17 and 18, Professor Agnieszka Naumiuk from the University of Warsaw visited the Mandel School and Cleveland.

A Fulbright Scholar, she is researching the life of Jane Addams and how the issues acknowledged by Addams are part of social work practice today.

While in Cleveland, she was the guest of professors Kathleen Farkas and Richard Romaniuk, who have all worked together in the Social Work Advances programs. Naumiuk visited University Settlement, the National Bohemian Hall, Stella Maris, the Cleveland History Center and spent time with Lisa Purdy from the Council of International Programs USA.
