Before beginning at Case Western Reserve University, what were you doing?

I was earning my undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa.

Why did you choose CWRU/the Mandel School?

I chose CWRU/the Mandel School because of the rigorous academic and athletic environment here, while also being surrounded by amazing people.

Describe your field education practicum experience and any work/projects you have done.

I assist patients receiving dialysis with whatever they may need, from insurance issues to mental health work.

Describe any extracurricular activities you're involved with on- or off-campus.

I am a member of the CWRU women's soccer team!

What are you most looking forward to this semester?

I am looking forward to learning all about social work and building relationships with my classmates!

What do you hope to do with your degree?

I want to work in medical social work with an emphasis on trauma work.

What is your favorite thing about CWRU/the Mandel School?

My favorite thing about CWRU/the Mandel School is the culture. Everyone is friendly and committed to making the world better.

What is your favorite thing about Cleveland?

Cleveland has great food and a fun environment!
