Eligibility for Services

University Health and Counseling Services (UH&CS) will extend their services to Friday, May 15, 2026 for graduating students. UH&CS staff can assist you by phone in coordinating follow up care and identifying community resources to meet your future healthcare needs. Access to services through TimelyCare will also end on Friday, May 15 for graduating students.
Health Insurance
Students who are enrolled in the CWRU Student Medical Plan for spring semester are covered by their medical insurance through July 31, 2026. Medical students are covered through June 30, 2026. We recommend beginning to look for a new health insurance plan (many students look on www.healthcare.gov) at least 6 weeks before that date (end of May/beginning of June) to avoid lapses in coverage. Please contact Aetna's customer service representatives at 877.850.6038 to secure a Certificate of Coverage to assist with purchasing coverage with a new insurance plan.
Medical and/or Mental Health Records
We will be happy to transfer your medical and/or Mental Health records to a new medical provider. Please follow the instructions here.
