Send Silence Packing

What is Send Silence Packing?

What is Send Silence Packing?

Send Silence Packing is a visually striking exhibit that includes personal stories from people who have lost a loved one to suicide and is designed to connect individuals to mental health resources and inspire action for suicide prevention.

You're invited to walk among the Send Silence Packing backpacks to see the photographs and read the stories attached to them.

Date and Time

Send Silence Packing will take place in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom on Tuesday, September 21 from 9am-4pm.

Who can attend?

Send Silence Packing is open to all CWRU students, faculty and staff and the community. No registration is necessary. Walk through at your own pace.

How can I get involved?

UH&CS is looking for volunteers to help throughout the event. Click here to sign-up to volunteer.

Volunteering also counts towards hours of civic engagement activities for CCEL's Civic Engagement Scholars Program!'

I'm not able to attend, but want to view the exhibit

Active Minds has created a virtual exhibit, Behind the Backpacks, for those who could not attend or want to continue to explore the exhibit more.
