Please refer to the CWRU Compliance Office website for a list and detailed information on university policies.
The Staff HR Policies, as well as the university-wide HR policies, contains select HR policies, procedures, practices, benefits, and services. The Staff HR Polices Table of Contents can be found here. Not all policies, procedures, and practices are included. The CWRU Compliance Office maintains a list of and detailed information on university policies representing other departments online. Staff are responsible for familiarizing themselves with and abiding by all university policies, procedures, and practices.
The Staff HR Policies do not apply to faculty, postdoctoral scholars or fellows, student employees, and temporary employees. However, they do apply to contract staff positions, such as Research Associates, Sr. Research Associates, and Research Scientists. Further information for faculty, postdoctoral scholars or fellows, student employees, and temporary employees can be found through the following resources:
- The Faculty Handbook is located on the Faculty Senate website at: https://case.edu/facultysenate/handbook-and-by-laws/faculty-handbook.
- Postdoctoral policies for postdoctoral scholars and postdoctoral fellows are located on the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs website at: https://case.edu/postdoc/current-postdoctorates/policies//

- Temporary employees should consult the on-site temporary agency for policies and procedures, including any university-wide policies that may be applicable to them.
Under no circumstances are the statements contained in these policies to be considered a contract of employment, an obligation, or guarantee on the part of the university.
Employees should contact the Human Resources Department if they have any questions about any aspect of their employment, by email at AskHR@case.edu, by phone at 216-368-6964, or in person by visiting the HR Service Center located in Crawford Hall, Room 320.
