Add to Calendar: Add to Calendar: 2022-06-02 18:00:00 2022-06-02 20:00:00 CWRU Law School Faculty/Student Rock Band Returns to Cosmic Dave's June 2 Event Description The School of Law faculty/student band, "Razing the Bar," has been invited to headline the first live performance at Cosmic Dave's Rock Club since COVID-19 on Thursday, June 2, from 6–8 p.m. Cosmic Dave's is located just across the street from the law school behind The Glidden House.  The theme of this special performance is "songs you know by heart from the '60s to the present." The first round of drinks is complimentary courtesy of Dean Michael Scharf. Razing the Bar is comprised of faculty, administrators, students and alums who rotate in for different songs: Dean Scharf (guitar/vocals), Prof. Charlie Korsmo (guitar/keyboard/vocals), Prof. and Law Library Director Joe Custer (bass guitar), Prof. Katy Mercer (vocal harmony), Prof. Andrew Pollis (vocal harmony), 2L Kelsey Tschanen (vocals), 2L Michaella Guyot-Polverini (keyboard and vocals), 2L Owen Migdal (guitar), 2L Shay Adler (guitar), alum Liz Safier (electric violin), alum Chuck Halberg (guitar), alum Andrew Rumschlag (drums) and alum Ryan Dalton (lead guitar). Razing the Bar has played at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, House of Blues, Music Box Supper Club, Happy Dog Tavern, Great Lakes Science Center and Chautauqua Institute.
