James P. Madigan, JD

Jim Madigan is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He teaches Property, Legislation & Regulation, and a seminar on Race, Law & Society.

Prior to joining CWRU, Madigan spent two years as a Harry A. Bigelow Teaching Fellow at the University of Chicago Law School. He later taught there as an adjunct lecturer. Madigan was a commercial litigation attorney in Chicago at the law firms of Goldberg Kohn (associate) and Greenberg Traurig (partner). He also served as a staff attorney at Lambda Legal, where he focused on civil rights impact litigation and public education. Madigan recently spent two years as a federal judicial law clerk in the Northern District of Ohio.
