Robert Deems (he/him) is a Finance Specialist in the department of Research Administration at the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Oberlin College. He started his career working in facilities, security, and customer service before shifting into finance. After a year working as a mortgage banker, Robert worked for two years in finance at a local community nonprofit, where he managed receivables and the credit card system.
In his free time, Robert loves to travel, hike, cook, and play boardgames. He is also passionate about music, especially classical music, and has played piano for over 20 years.
