Event Description
The stakes are high for police encounters with youth, especially when the young person is in crisis. Join the Schubert Center for Child Studies for a community conversation where guests will discuss efforts to respond to youth and families in crisis in a relational way rather than relying on law enforcement. Speakers will include perspectives from law enforcement, the ADMHAS Board, a new Mobile Response Stabilization Services (MRSS) community program, and a young adult with personal experience.
Featured panelists in alphabetical order:
- Erin DiVincenzo, Board Director of Children and Youth Programs, ADMHAS
- Chava Harris, Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) Director, Bellefaire
- Sgt. Reginald Lanton, Cleveland Division of Police
- Kourtney Morgan, Young Adult Advocate
A light snack will be served. Free and open to the public!
