To Our Faculty and Staff:
We are pleased to share that all campus permit holders will receive a parking credit for May, with the amount appearing in your May compensation.
As you may recall, we previously announced a parking credit for April in light of the university’s move to remote operations. At the time, we wrote that the possibility of a May credit would depend on whether remote operations continued. While the university has begun the process of bringing employees back to campus, the majority remain working from home right now.
As with last month’s credit message, we also want to include a plea on behalf of our students. These days, many are coming back to campus to pack their belongings; between travel and storage or shipping expenses, they again need the support of our Student Emergency Fund to be able to cover the costs.
In April, more than 550 of you chose to donate all or part of your credit, contributing more than $50,000 to the fund. In a time when so many student internships and other plans are canceled or uncertain, your assistance can make an enormous difference in their lives.
If you would like to give again—or for the first time—please visit this form for more information.
We deeply appreciate the generosity so many of you have already demonstrated, as well as all of your efforts for Case Western Reserve amid such extraordinary circumstances.
Thank you.
