Charles J. Nock, MD

I have been actively involved in clinical research since joining Case Western Reserve University in 2007. I am currently an Attending Physician for the VA Northeast Ohio Health Care System (VANEOHS) where I serve as Chief of the Hematology/Oncology Section. I lead the thoracic oncology program at VANEOHS since 2015, where we see approximately 150 new lung cancers annually. My recent research has primarily focused on lung cancer screening and imaging, novel therapeutics, and precision oncology. A major goal is to develop lung cancer trials within the VA, and I currently serve as the lead investigator for 13 VA sites that are engaged in the Novartis Canopy-A lung cancer trial.
