Research Interests

Dr. Sauter’s clinical expertise includes the use of stem cell transplantation to treat hematologic malignancies, particularly non-Hodgkin lymphomas and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. 

His research encompasses the search for methods to identify people with lymphoma who will benefit most from either autologous or allogeneic stem cell transplantation as well as the development of new transplantation approaches to improve patients’ outcomes.
