Dr. Selfridge is a medical oncologist and a physician-scientist. Her clinical expertise is in the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies. Her research is focused on understanding how the tumor microenvironment can be manipulated to sensitize colorectal cancers to immunotherapy. She has a passion for translating discoveries made in the laboratory to clinical trials, with the goal of developing better treatments for patients suffering from cancer. She is active within the GI SPORE, and is the institutional PI for clinical trials within the GI clinical trials team and the Phase I clinical trials program at University Hospitals.
