Richard T. Lee, MD research focuses on investigating natural products as a source for drug development. Specifically, Dr. Lee has been actively researching mistletoe extracts for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma. Additionally, he is involved in clinical research evaluating the benefits of acupuncture and meditation to help treat symptoms commonly experienced by cancer patients such as pain and anxiety. Lastly, Dr. Lee is interested in treating chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy with acupuncture and are examining ways to optimize meditation techniques for cancer patients to be more efficient and effective for stress management.
