Winter Break Housing: First-Year, Second-Year and Greek Students

The first-year and second-year residence halls and university-operated Greek houses are closed during winter break. This includes first and second-year students living in apartment-style housing (Triangle). For Winter Break 2025, the Office of University Housing is offering a winter break housing option for first-year, second-year, and Greek students returning for Spring 2026 who need housing for the entire winter break period (Thursday, December 18, 2025 - Thursday, January 8, 2026).

Locations:

  • All campus residents who sign up will be able to stay in their current housing assignment

Cost

The cost for winter break housing is $525 and will be billed directly to your Spring 2026 SIS account.

Winter Break Meal Plan

During winter break, the dining halls are closed and most on-campus retail options are on a reduced schedule.  We are offering students the option to purchase a Winter Break Meal Plan that can be used through Spartie Mart, or at on-campus food court locations when they are open, including Jolly Scholar and Jolly's Pizza. 

Winter Break Meal Plan:  (December 18, 2025 - January 10, 2026)

  • 5 meals/week + $150 CaseCash = $475.00
  • 7 meals/week + $100 CaseCash = $550.00

Charges will go directly to your Spring 2026 SIS account.
