The first-year and second-year residence halls and university-operated Greek houses are closed during Winter Break. This includes first and second-year students living in apartment-style housing, such as Triangle Towers. For Winter Break 2026, the Office of University Housing is offering a Winter Break housing option for first-year, second-year, and Greek students returning for Spring 2027 who need housing for the entire Winter Break period (Thursday, December 17, 2026 - Thursday, January 7, 2027).
Locations:
- All campus residents who sign up will be able to stay in their current housing assignment.
Cost
The cost for winter break housing is $525 and will be billed directly to your Spring 2027 SIS account.

Winter Break Meal Plan
During Winter Break, the dining halls are closed and most on-campus retail options are on a reduced schedule. A limited meal plan will be available during the break period. More information about Winter Break meal plan options will be updated here soon.
