The Office of Facilities Services provides a team of custodians and housekeepers whose sole responsibility is the residential buildings. These services are different depending on the group of buildings:

First-Year Experience buildings have all common spaces, bathrooms, and trash rooms serviced Monday through Friday.

Second-Year Experience buildings have their common lounges cleaned and trash removed Monday through Friday. Suite bathrooms are cleaned three times per week.

Upperclass-Experience buildings have public spaces cleaned and trash rooms emptied Monday through Friday. Resident apartment bathrooms are cleaned once per week.

If a member of the residential community needs to submit a custodial maintenance request, please submit a work order through MyHousing.

After-Hours Custodial Concerns

Facilities provides after-hours custodial service for emergency situations by calling 216.368.3300. In the event of bio-hazard cleanup, residents should contact the non-emergency Security number, 216.368.3300, to have after-hours custodial dispatched. The work order queues of MyHousing is only reviewed during the business day so in the event of one of the above problems, residents should contact after-hours maintenance.
