Research Information

Research Interests

My research is predominantly in the field of breast cancer focusing on:

  • Shortening the course of radiation therapy for women undergoing breast conservation utilizing a variety of techniques including accelerated partial breast irradiation.
  • Breast cancer-related lymphedema and methods that allow for early detection and treatment reducing long-term sequelae.

Additionally, my research has expanded into the cost-effectiveness of cancer care due to the absolute increase in costs associated with the new technologies in my research. Finally, I have worked on and continue to be involved with studies evaluating oncologic outcomes in underserved populations.
