Research Interests

The primary goal of my research is to reduce disparities in cancer care by increasing access to standard-of-care therapy. I aim specifically to address healthcare disparities attributable to logistic barriers impeding radiation therapy completion. In previous work, I have been a principal driver in evaluating disparities in radiation therapy access affecting vulnerable populations in the United States and the potential for shorter course radiation therapy in remedying these disparities. I will focus on ways to improve patient access to radiation therapy information, care, and treatment completion. These projects will serve to build upon a foundation for a career focused on providing tangible solutions for addressing disparities facing vulnerable populations in oncology.
