Conduct second interviews - Ask, "are you eligible for employment in the United States?"

If work authorization is required, review the Office of HR and Immigration Services VISA Information webpage to select the appropriate category. Pay close attention to the processing times for the various visas. Processing delays at the Department of Labor (DOL) and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) can be expected. Timely filing generally results in timely appointments.

Employment Eligibility Verification
The Department of Homeland Security requires all employers to use the newest I-9 form for all newly hired and re-verified employees. For your convenience, Human Resources has made the I-9 form available.
