Staff separating from the university?

Read the Termination of Employment Policy and Termination of Employment Procedure.

If the employee is retiring or resigning, upon receipt of the written letter, forward it to HRRecords@case.edu. This should be done upon receipt, but no later than the employee's last working day.

For staff who are resigning or retiring, the supervisor should speak with the employee about how they would like this information to be conveyed to their colleagues and whether they would appreciate a department get together (whether in person or virtual). This is especially important for staff who have been with the university for several years, in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the university.

Download and complete the Personnel Action Form and submit it to HRRecords@case.edu.

Download and complete the Termination Checklist.
