Mental Health Awareness Fair

Fresh Check Day is a program created by the Jordan Porco Foundation. The program is meant to highlight mental health promotion and suicide prevention on college campuses. The event includes interactive booths, peer-to-peer messaging, and support from campus departments and student groups. There will be free food, music, and fun prize giveaways for participants who visit at least five booths and hand in a bingo card. The Jordan Porco Foundation states that Fresh Check Day is intended to create an approachable and hopeful atmosphere where students are encouraged to discuss mental health. The intention is to build a bridge between students and mental health resources available on campus and in the community.

Fresh Check Day will be held on Friday, September 13th from 11am  to 2pm on the KSL Oval (rain location Thwing Atrium).
