Early Arrivals for Approved Groups
Residents in approved early arrival groups will have their arrival dates adjusted in our database at the beginning of August.
Approved early arrival groups (orientation leaders, athletic teams) will receive specific move-in instructions from their coach or supervisor.
Transfer Students
Your check-in date will be changed to Sunday, August 17 so you can move in with new students. Find all the details on where to check-in on our website.
Exchange Students
Your check-in date will be Friday, August 15. Please go to the North Area Office (Wade Commons) to check-in.
Late Arrivals
Students who will be arriving after Sunday, August 24 need to notify the Office of University Housing of your late arrival date, no later than Wednesday, August 27, 2025, for the fall semester.
Can I Move-In Earlier than August 20?
Returning students can request an early arrival beginning on Saturday, August 16 through MyHousing. The early arrival fee is $50/night and will go directly onto your SIS account. To sign up, go to MyHousing under MyAssignments.
If you have signed-up to volunteer with First Year Move-In, do not sign up for an early arrival. We will change your move-in date.
If you live on north campus, we strongly advise that you do not request an early move in time for August 17, as that is the move-in day for first-year students. There will be heavy traffic that will make move in more difficult.
