- All students will be moved into their summer housing assignment by Saturday, May 25.
- Students taking a May Term study abroad class are not eligible for spring transition housing.

Room Rates
Fall and spring transition housing is charged as a flat fee. If you select spring transition housing, you MUST be living in summer housing through at least Friday, May 31. If you depart any earlier, you will still be billed through this date.
During the summer, housing is charged at a reduced nightly rate, and you will be billed based on the amount of time you stay on campus. The nightly rate for each room type is as follows:
- Hitchcock and Pierce Houses
- Double--$22/night
- Single--$24/night
- Large Single--$26/night
- The Village at 115, Houses 1, 2, & 3
- Single Bedroom (any sized apartment)--$38.50/night
All summer charges will be billed via student accounts through the Office of Student Financial Services.
How to Calculate Your Summer Housing Charges
Use this date calculator to determine the number of days for your summer housing duration. (Do not include the end date in your calculation, as we go by the number of nights you stay on campus).
Calculate the charge by multiplying the number of days x nightly room rate.
For example: May 26 - August 4 (entire summer) is 70 days.
- Double room: $22.00/night x 70 days = $1,540
- Single room: $24.00/night x 70 days = $1,680
- Large single room: $26.00/night x 70 days = $1,820
- Village room: $38.50/night x 70 days = $2,695
Here are a few examples of room costs, based on summer academic sessions. To determine the rate for the days you want to live on campus,
