Policy Statement
The university encourages employees to honor their civil responsibilities. Therefore, paid leave is granted to all employees for jury leave. The university will continue to pay an employee at the regular rate of pay for the time spent on jury duty.
Employees who miss more than five (5) days must submit documentation to verify the time spent on jury duty to Employee Relations by email at AskHR@case.edu or in person at Crawford Hall, Room 320 upon returning from jury duty.
The Jury Duty policy also applies to employees who must serve as subpoenaed witnesses.
