Program Information
The overarching goals of the Cancer Genomics (CG) Program are to discover the genetic and epigenetic alterations that contribute to cancer, to uncover the mechanisms by which these alterations form, and to translate these discoveries towards prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer.
Program Aims
- Discover germline and somatic genetic alterations and elucidate the mechanisms by which these alterations drive tumorigenesis.
- Discover novel DNA methylations, histone modifications, DNA regulatory elements, 3-D chromosomal structures in cancers.
- Translate genetic and epigenetic discoveries for cancer diagnosis and therapy.
