The National Initiative on Mixed-Income Communities (NIMC) recently helped Cleveland secure a $35 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to redevelop severely distressed housing and spur comprehensive revitalization under the federal Choice Neighborhoods Initiative (CNI) in the Buckeye-Woodhill neighborhood.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 and Founding Director Mark L. Joseph gave his speech at the 50-minute mark.
