Since January 2021, the Mandel School ramped up its efforts to increase scholarships for students in recognition of Dean Grover C. Gilmore’s long and decorated legacy of education and service before his retirement on June 30. All donations made in honor of Dean Gilmore or directly to the Dean Gilmore Scholarship Fund, as well as those made to the annual fund, named scholarship funds or through the creation of a new scholarship fund, were counted toward the campaign's $1 million goal.
The campaign more than doubled its goal, reaching just over $2 million by June 30—these funds will provide critical assistance to our current students as we continue to work toward our $15 million goal to expand the average tuition scholarship support from 36% to 75% of tuition.
Please know that you still have the opportunity to give. Increasing financial aid breaks down barriers to accessing the Mandel School's exceptional education, helps to attract the best and brightest students, and relieves the stress of tuition debt.
We thank our alumni, faculty, staff and friends for helping us exceed our original goal of $1 million!
