Fall 2021 Check-In Schedule

Returning students move-in between Wednesday, August 18 through Sunday, August 22.  All students moving on-campus will be tested for COVID-19 as part of the move-in process.

Students are allowed to have up to two guests to assist them with moving in.

Step 1: COVID-19 Testing for Residential Students

Students who are moving into residential, on-campus housing will undergo testing for SARS-CoV-2 (“COVID testing”) as they proceed through the move-in process.

Students arriving between August 18-22 need to sign up for a 2-hour move-in time block through MyHousing. Students who are not scheduled for a move-in time will not be able to be tested. Testing will take place in the following locations:

  • North Campus
    • Wade Commons Pioneer Room
  • South Campus
    • Fribley Commons Multi-Purpose Room, beginning on Tuesday, August 17
    • Student moving in prior to August 17 will be tested in Carlton Commons

Step 2: Check-In To Your Room

When you arrive on campus, you must check in at the following locations to obtain your key/key card.

  • North Campus -- (The Village at 115, Stephanie Tubbs Jones, 1609 Hazel, Property Managment Apartments, The Triangle Apartments, north Greek houses)
    • Wade Commons North Residential Area Office
  • South Campus -- (Murray Hill and Carlton Complex, south Greek houses).
    • Prior to August 17, check-in at Carlton Commons South Residential Area Office
      • Parking for check in is available in Lot 57 (behind Carlton Road residence halls and Greek houses)
    • Tuesday, August 17-Sunday, August 22 -- Fribley Commons South Residential Area Office.

Step 3: Unload and Move-In

Carts and dollies will be available for you to sign out (ID is required) at the area offices.

Step 4: Move Car to Parking Lot

North Campus:  When the last load is in the student's room, the car should be moved immediately to North Residential Village Garage (Lot 46 - E. 117 and Euclid) to free up space on the streets for other students to move in.

South Campus:  Can stay parked in Lot 5 or 57.
