The goal of the Mouse Behavioral Phenotyping Core in the School of Medicine is to provide a convenient resource for investigators at Case and other nearby institutions, to produce in-depth characterization of mouse behaviors with state of the art mouse behavioral testing. The core facility is equipped to perform a comprehensive battery of behavioral tests to thoroughly phenotype overall motor and sensory function of mice as well as phenotype specific behaviors that are of interest to the investigators (learning and memory, place/fear conditioning, pain/analgesia, anxiety-related, depression-related behaviors, and various social behaviors). The Core can assist in all aspects of mouse behavioral testing including design and execution of behavioral tasks as well as data analysis and interpretation. The Core laboratory is located in HSAF.
