Corinne Bazella, MD, FACOG

Corinne Bazella, MD is an Obstetrician Gynecologist clinician-educator at University Hospital Cleveland Medical Center at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She is the OB/GYN Clerkship Director and developed a longitudinal mentorship program for students desiring to go into OB/GYN culminating in a bootcamp curriculum to prepare students for residency. Dr. Bazella has presented at various national presentations and workshops presenting her mentoring and curriculum work.
Dr. Bazella has a broad range of interests in medical education including the UME to GME transition, preparation for residency, coaching 4th year students through the MATCH, and using value clarification to allow pre-clerkship students to understand how to navigate their professional responsibilities to patients. She is a member of the NBME OB/GYN Taskforce and Counsel of Residency Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology countdown to CREOG Quiz Development Committee. She has received the Kaiser Permanente Excellence in Teaching Award, several Scholarship in Teaching Awards and The Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology Faculty Award.
Dr. Bazella graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2000 and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at The Ohio State Medical Center in 2008. She is board certified in OB/GYN.
