Master of Public Health – Health Informatics Concentration

The Master of Public Health (MPH) program is a two-year program designed to offer a solid foundation in the unique health needs and challenges of any community. As a student here, you can concentrate your MPH studies on health informatics, learning how information and computer science are used to inform decisions on public health and clinical practice and research. 

Our graduates enter the job field prepared to apply relevant technology to collect and curate data that aids with disease detection, surveillance and health management at the population level. Specifically, you’ll learn how clinical data are collected, aggregated, normalized and integrated; the standard health data exchange formats and vocabularies; and the ethical, regulatory and practical aspects of data security.
