Match Day is arguably one of the most anticipated days in a medical student’s journey to becoming a physician. Through the National Resident Matching Program, every graduating medical student in the U.S. discovers the results of their residency program placements at the same time, learning where they'll spend the next several years as they complete specialized training on the path to receiving their medical license.
This year, the reveal happens on Friday, March 20, at the Health Education Campus Sheila and Eric Samson Pavilion (9501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106). A brief program will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by students at Case Western Reserve—and around the country—opening their match envelopes promptly at noon. A reception on the third floor will immediately follow.
