Since joining Case Western Reserve University in January 2012, Judith McBride has worked in the grants and contracts office in the School of Medicine. Judy is the director of contracts and industry sponsored agreements.
She is primarily responsible for managing and leading the negotiation process for industry research contracts and research service contracts for the School of Medicine, as well as managing the negotiation and execution of subcontracts/subawards for research grants and contracts received by the medical school from federal and non-federal sponsors. This includes agreements issued by the medical school to outside institutions.
In her position, Judy ensures that contracts meet the requirements and expectations of the School of Medicine, while ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Judy and her office colleagues provide comprehensive customer-focused support to the medical school’s faculty and staff relating to research administration.
Judy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from John Carroll University and her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
