Synchrotron-based macromolecular crystallography is one of the most important techniques to uncover the details of molecular structure at an atomic level. The Case Center for Synchrotron Biosciences (CSB), through our partnership with the National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II) at Brookhaven National Laboratory in NY, facilitates access to two NSLS-II beamlines for crystallography offering world-class capabilities in micro-beams, ultra-fast framing detectors, serial crystallography, and automation: FMX (Frontier Macromolecular Crystallography) and AMX (Automated Macromolecular Crystallography).
