David Crampton, associate professor at the Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development, co-authored an article about Team Decision Making (TDM) that was used as the foundation for the blog post, "Study: Team Decision Making Associated With Better Child Welfare Outcomes" from the Annie E. Casey Foundation.

A rigorous evaluation shows that Team Decision Making benefits families served by child welfare systems.

"I have previously written articles about the benefits of Team Decision Making, but this Randomized Control Trial provides more rigorous evidence of those benefits," said Crampton. "TDM is used in Cuyahoga County—it is sometimes called 'staffings' if you are working with a family involved with the Cuyahoga County Division of Children and Family Services."
