Website Management

In the spring of 2018, the School of Medicine entered a new and exciting phase of our website development plan. In conjunction with the university, we have adopted a new content management system (CMS) known as Drupal. Drupal is in use at major universities and organizations across the world and we are pleased to implement it here. The new system will help ensure consistent branding, empower individuals and school units to manage their own content, utilize modern web systems and federal accessibility guidelines, and provide consistency across the School of Medicine websites. For more information, visit the university's CMS Frequently Asked Questions and explore their Web Content Management site.

Getting Help for Your SOM Website

If you or your department currently have a website and you need help please identify your site and URL and submit your request to the university HelpDesk and you will be routed to the proper assistance.

Please note that we make every effort to respond to requests in a timely manner, but due to the volume of requests, we may need up to a week to reply.

Building a New SOM Website

New SOM websites and major site updates/renovations will be built in our new CMS. In order to request a new site and be added to the build queue, please submit your request to the university HelpDesk. Please be aware that we have many sites to transition and we cannot guarantee when new sites will be built.
