Drop/Add Policy

The SOM Registrar's Office will not process a student request to drop an elective rotation within 30 days of the start of the elective or within 60 days of the start of an Acting Internship unless approval has been obtained in writing from the rotation leader or designee. Once the approval has been received by the department please forward it to som-registrar@case.edu.

Students are responsible for notifying the appropriate departments, including the School of Medicine Registrar when a drop has been confirmed.

The drop/add policy for Acting Internships will include additional requirements to be specified in a separate policy.

CCLCM students must complete the electronic Enroll/Drop Form in the CCLCM portal.
