Why Hire Our Students?
Case Western Reserve University School of Law is one of the nation's leading law schools. We do more than teach law; our students have real practice experiences before graduation. They each have caseloads and work for judges, agencies and offices in the public and private sectors through numerous externships and reserved internship placements abroad.
We've modernized our curriculum to prepare students to be successful professionals. Other law schools push fast-track JDs and accelerated schedules, but we do not. We believe our students need a rigorous curriculum to build competencies. Students learn core competencies in their first year of law school, and put them into action in their second year as they concentrate on a specific field. In their third year, students spend a full semester practicing law full-time.
Our student body is 26% international. We have approximately 400 JD students and 100 LLM and SJD students. About a third of our JD students are from Ohio.
We offer personalized services for you, our employer partners. You may post job opportunities, attend one of our interview fairs, receive resumes or serve as mentors and guest speakers.
