We appreciate the advice and experience employers and their attorneys provide our students as they embark on their legal careers. We offer many opportunities to increase your visibility and establish a long-term working relationship with us.
Volunteer as a Career Advisor
The Career Development Office maintains an “opt-in” database of alumni and other attorneys who have expressed a desire to speak with current students about their law practice, job search techniques, the legal market in their city and state, and other issues related to navigating a career path.
Use our free career services system. Register for an account to view recruiting information 24/7. This web-based tool makes it easy to post job opportunities, review applications, and promote your organization.
Speak on a Panel
Career Development Office hosts a variety of programs and panels addressing different practice areas, trends in the law, interview tips, resume tips, networking, and more. Consider speaking on one of these panels or giving a presentation about your area of law or career path.
Serve as a Mock Interviewer
We host a Mock Interview Saturday each winter and invite alumni and other practicing attorneys to conduct mock interviews with students.
Conduct an Employer Outreach Meeting
Our career advising team travels the country to meet with employers in an effort to learn what employers are looking for in job candidates and to share information about our law school and our students. Consider sharing your advice with us. Contact us to schedule a meeting.
