Join us for the final installment in our George Floyd Teach-In Series, where we'll compare the COVID-19 stay-home protests with the Black Lives Matter protests and discuss the intersection of the rights to free speech and to bear arms under the First and Second Amendments. The teach-in will also examine limits on the use of tear gas and rubber bullets, the militarization of police and carrying firearms while protesting.
The event features three CWRU Law faculty, including Professors Bryan Adamson, Jonathan Adler and Jessie Hill, who will moderate the event.
The event will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and is broadcast live from the Seattle University School of Law Youtube page.
