Following remarks by Michele Connell, the Global Managing Partner of Squire Patten Boggs, the international law faculty gathered to present eight outstanding student leaders with the 2023 Case Global Service Awards.
The 2023 student award winners were:
Sydney Warinner, the Captain of the school’s award-winning Jessup International Law Moot Court team, winner of the Best Speaker Award at Regionals and the third best brief award in the world, who also served as Executive Director of the Yemen Accountability Project.
Lucus Christensen, the Captain of the school’s award-winning ICC Moot Court Team, who argued in the final round of the America’s Competition.
Brooke Behrmann, the Captain of the school’s award-winning Vis International Arbitration Moot Team, who led her team to the elimination rounds last year.
Maryam Asser, the Managing Editor of the Journal of International Law and President of the Islamic Law Society.
Gabriel Kaufman, the Symposium Editor of the Journal of International Law and President of the Student Bar Association.
Zach Tomi, the President of the International Law Society and Notes Editor of the Journal of International Law.
