Congratulations to second-year law student Haley Walker for being accepted to the Marquette Benefits and Social Welfare Law Review for publication in June 2021 with her article, "School to Prison Pipeline: Why early intervention programs aren't properly serving our mentally ill youth and the current juvenile justice system is too punitive."
During her time at law school, Walker has worked as an ambassador and peer mentor to help acclimate incoming 1Ls to the law school community, tutored first-year students in their writing classes and volunteered with the 3Rs Program under the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
Currently, she is working towards completing the healthcare law concentration and plans to pursue a career in Personal Injury law after graduation.
