On Aug. 26, CWRU’s “Talking Foreign Policy” radio show/podcast will examine how foreign policy will impact the 2024 election

Conventional wisdom says that foreign policy doesn’t matter in U.S. Presidential elections. But this election is shaping up to be different. In the August 26, 2024 broadcast (9 a.m. and 9 p.m.) of CWRU School of Law's “Talking Foreign Policy” radio show, host Michael Scharf will discuss how foreign policy issues may effect the outcome of the 2024 Presidential election with leading experts including:

  • Harold Hongju Koh, who served as the Department of State Legal Adviser during the Obama Administration
  • John Bellinger who served as the Department of State Legal Adviser during the Bush Administration
  • Paul Williams who is President of the Public International Law & Policy Group
  • Mike Newton, who served as a foreign policy adviser in the Clinton and elder Bush Administrations
  • Milena Sterio who is one of the nation’s leading international law and foreign policy experts

Talking Foreign Policy is broadcast on Cleveland’s NPR Station, WKSU 89.7 FM in Cleveland, and its syndicates throughout Ohio. It is streamed worldwide from Ideastream Public Media. It is also available to listen to as a podcast anytime after it airs at our website.
